Karbon is hiring a People & Places Coordinator who is passionate about delivering a world-class employee experience for a scaling organization in Sydney! This position is a hybrid role, As our People & Places Coordinator, you will provide top-notch internal and external customer service, working closely with the entire organization to promote and maintain an environment that focuses on collaboration and teamwork, support, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of human resources. From using templates to populate important letters to HRIS admin and ensuring our new Karbonites get set up for success in their onboarding, you’ll be at the heart of our HR operations. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about Human Resources and eager to learn all facets of the function. You’ll receive hands-on coaching, development, and mentorship from both the Vice President of People & Places and the Manager of Talent Acquisition, providing you with exciting learning and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Vice President of People & Places, the People & Places Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting our Australian team and office with key initiatives such as planning events and office moves. Your contribution to the day-to-day operations of the People team will be invaluable, and you will be the first point of contact for general inquiries regarding benefits, time off and leave policies, and more.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining our HRIS and keeping all records up-to-date
  • Procuring employee assets
  • Responding to incoming employee requests
  • Administration and calendar management for the VP of People & Places
