Our client that is hiring a two (2) Senior PeopleSoft Technical Developer / Analysts, with a strong Financial Management Solutions (FMS) background.
Our client is a recognized employer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, known for their Enterprise PeopleSoft footprint. These candidates will partner with customers and IT teams to define requirements, write customizations, perform customized programming, and perform testing for the PeopleSoft FMS focusing on GL, AR, AP, FA, etc.) Product Suite.
You will be working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME), PeopleSoft (PS) Analysts, PS Developers, and Administrators to transform business requirements and system requests into technical specifications in support of the PeopleSoft ERP solutions.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter able to dive in, resolve ambiguity, and achieve results. Excellent communication skills are a MUST! The candidate must also have a high attention to detail with proven success in working with multiple stakeholders, and managing and meeting deadlines.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Perform analysis, design, code, test, and revise complex ERP programs based on technical specifications using the ERP development environment and the ERP developer’s toolset (currently PeopleSoft and PeopleTools).
• Create technical specifications and detailed software design documentation based on business requirements. Interact with the user community to gather and document business requirements, conduct process analysis, and draft conceptual design.
• Perform data mapping, conversion testing, and end-user documentation.
• Provide user assistance and direction for ad-hoc data reporting and, as needed, develop reports using the PeopleSoft and Oracle reporting toolset.
• Work with users and IT members on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software. Identify the cause, design or develop an approach for resolution. Upon approval, implement the correction/customize software.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with a diverse group of business stakeholders (supervisors, managers, directors, vice presidents etc.) to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s business processes to support the prioritization and delivery of demand.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• 7+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience in one or more PeopleSoft v8.x/v9.x (v9.2 preferred) Financial Management Solutions (AR, AP, GL, FA, etc.) modules in implementations and/or upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with one or more PeopleSoft modules (FMS) including integrating PeopleSoft with non-PeopleSoft Applications.
• 10+ years extensive experience in analysis, design, and development utilizing PeopleSoft Tools (People Tools, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, PS Query, PeopleCode)
• Ability to lead and facilitate discussions and collaborate with business leaders and staff to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, end users and technical staff for the various PeopleSoft Modules.
• Knowledgeable of PeopleSoft v8.0/v9.0 or above modifying/creating PeopleSoft PeopleTools Application Designer objects (components, pages, records, fields, SQL, Application Engine, Application Packages, etc.).
• Self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.
• Expert in use of PeopleTools 8.55.12+, SQL, AppEngine, Integration Broker, and related software.
• Expertise with software development lifecycle and ITIL methodologies.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now.
• Scope of Role: This posi)on is responsible for developingmodifications, customizations, and reports as required by the Project.
