Our client is a leading Funds management firm, who are seeking a Performance Analyst with 1-2 years of relevant experience to join their team.
As a Performance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and analysing the performance of our investment strategies, providing valuable insights to support decision-making and enhance client outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance analysis of investment portfolios, including returns attribution, risk assessment, and benchmarking.
- Monitor and report on investment performance metrics, identifying trends, outliers, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and investment teams to understand investment strategies and objectives.
- Develop and maintain performance reporting processes and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate performance results and analysis to internal stakeholders, including senior management and client-facing teams.
- Support the development and enhancement of performance measurement methodologies and tools.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to performance analysis and reporting.
Key Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in performance analysis within the funds management industry, with an understanding of investment products and strategies highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
