JOB DESCRIPTION

Operational Reports

  • Propose the implementation of work and decision-making tools for operational use (system report, BI) in order to improve supply chain processes;
  • Build and maintain performance reports, from requirements to deployment, including periodic follow-ups;
  • Prepare various analyses on a regular basis for the purchasing and production departments;
  • Work closely with other analysts and supply chain departments;
  • Ensure the structure between the workspaces, applications and desktops of the different teams;
  • Perform weekly validations of the information exchanged between the different systems.

Internal IT systems

  • Master the various internal computer systems, recognize each of their functionalities and the architecture of data sources;
  • Investigate to understand the causes of operational issues in the use of systems and assist supply chain teams in resolving unexpected issues or behaviors;
  • Be responsible for centralizing technology tickets and follow up with users, the IT team and suppliers;
  • Prepare test cases, plans and perform tests on systems to provide recommendations for improvement;
  • Coordinate new version updates and perform unit testing for quality assurance and deployments;
  • Ensure user manuals are updated and created;
  • Work with the company’s super-users to empower them in the use of technological solutions;
  • Lead, coordinate and participate in various implementation projects.

Process

  • Collaborate with the various stakeholders in the supply chain departments, analysts and business intelligence specialists in order to understand the processes of the different teams;
  • Plan and maintain a consistent, clear, and relevant communication schedule;
  • Issue communication recommendations and develop memos;
  • Set up communication tools to issue meeting summaries, announcements of new features, reminders of procedures and training capsules related to our various systems;
  • Assist the Senior Analyst with any other related tasks (project management, process training, one-time specific analysis, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration/Operations Management/Information Technology or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in fashion and/or retail;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (OneDrive, SharePoint, Sway), Microsoft Power BI, ERP system or other database processing software;
  • Knowledge of PLM (asset);
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Be a team player with attentive listening and a positive attitude;
  • Strong interest in business in general;
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Autonomy, rigor and curiosity;
  • A strong interest in innovation and problem solving;
  • Organizational and priority management skills;
  • Ability to make decisions even in situations of uncertainty;
  • Asset – basic knowledge of Project / contract management.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for implementing operational tools, assisting in the resolution of system issues and ensuring the smooth running of multi-departmental processes. The goal is to promote informed decision making for purchasing and production teams, to optimize the use of software for a user experience adapted to each operational context, and to ensure effective communication to promote a common understanding of procedures strengthening synergy between stakeholders. The incumbent will identify opportunities to improve processes to increase the efficiency of the Supply Chain departments.
