Description:

LET’S TALK ABOUT WHO WE ARE

The nib Group has a mission and vision of people enjoying better health. Through our success, we aspire to more prosperous and sustainable communities, not only the creation of enterprise value. nib is a trusted health partner, helping members and travellers make more informed healthcare decisions, transact with healthcare systems and generally live healthier lives.
We’re looking for people who share this passion and want to be a part of a team that has the appetite and ambition to be extraordinary. Extraordinary comes in different perspectives and experiences. We’re committed to an environment where everyone has the autonomy and freedom to be their authentic selves, every day.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with a sound understanding and experience of contemporary performance and reward frameworks, who is confident to partner with business leaders on all aspects of Performance & Reward operations.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in a Performance & Reward, HR Analyst or generalist HR / business partnering role
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreements, NES & Modern Awards
  • Sound planning and time management skills to enable competing priorities to be completed simultaneously
  • An analytical mind, a passion for data and confidence in using HR systems (ideally Workday)
  • A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

At nib, we recognise that some people may only apply when their education, skills and/or experiences are identical to what an employer is looking for in a candidate. We’re always on the lookout for curious individuals who will add to the culture at nib Group - so if this role resonates with you, please apply!

Responsibilities:

This is a temporary role that could be worked on a fixed term (part-time) or casual basis. We’re looking for an extra team member for a minimum of 4 months, commencing in June, with possibility of extension up to 6 months.
We need support for approx. 3 days / 22.8 hours per week, ideally with some flexibility to pick up more hours during peak busy periods and to cover leave, as needed. We’re open to making these hours work for you, whether it’s 3 full days or shorter hours across 5 days. Let us know what works for you in your cover letter.
In this role you will be supporting a small, dedicated Performance & Reward team and will be focused on the delivery of operational reward services and cyclical programs, globally across the nib Group.

Your focus in this role will be:

  • Job benchmarking and maintaining our salary banding framework and job architecture in Workday
  • Providing specialist advice and support to People & Culture Business Partners and leaders on performance and reward policies, programs, and practices
  • Supporting delivery of our cyclical reward processes, including our annual and quarterly bonus processes and annual remuneration review
  • Preparing data submissions for remuneration surveys
  • Data modelling, reporting and analytics
  • Managing inbox queries on remuneration and employee benefits
  • Support for regulatory change initiatives and projects, as required
