Description:
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a band 5 registered nurse / ODP to join our busy Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Theatres at Castle Hill Hospital.
We are a happy team working over 3 operating theatres and cover a wide range of cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including robotic surgery.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic to learn, dedicated, motivated, and possess high standards of care.
A flexible attitude to work is required together with an excellent level of communication essential!

A vacancy has arisen in the Cardiac and Thoracic Theatres within Castle Hill Hospital.
We would like to invite applications from practitioners who wish to work in this busy, exciting area. Experience in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery is desirable but not essential as a comprehensive training package is available with a period of supernumerary status.
We require highly motivated, flexible, hardworking individuals, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt well to change, participate in theatre audit and work effectively as part of a well-established team is essential.
The service currently covers Monday to Friday, our working hours are between 7.30 and 6.00 pm. Staff will be expected to participate in an on call rota covering a 24/7 emergency out of hours service.
