In this role you have the opportunity to work according to the patient workflow and be of enormous added value to the teams you train. You are a part of a highly skilled and professional team that is based around the world. As the clinical trainer your role has the following components:
- Ensuring Competency: ensuring competency in students skills and knowledge. Provide hands-on training that is critical to patient care and safety.
- Bridging Theory and Practice: bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This helps learners understand how to apply their classroom learning in real-world clinical settings.
- Promoting Continuous Learning: Healthcare is an ever-evolving field. Clinical trainers promote lifelong learning and professional development, which is vital for keeping up with new treatments and technologies.
- Improving Patient Outcomes: Well-trained students contribute to improving patient outcomes by ensuring that Healthcare professionals are properly educated in the technology.
- Mentorship: provide mentorship and support to students, which is crucial for their growth and confidence.
- Quality Assurance: Clinical trainers help maintain high standards of healthcare services by ensuring that staff are up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and protocols.
You’re the right fit if:
- Post-secondary education in healthcare, clinical care or a related field is preferred. A degree in nursing, education or a related field is beneficial.
- Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is crucial. Teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting is highly valued.
- Training needs analysis skills to identify training needs and carry out and accurate training. Strong organizational skills for being well prepared for training delivery. Versatility for ability to adapt to different situations and confidence to deliver training.
- Training design skills with a know how to design effective and engaging training programs.
- Excellent communicating skills for clear and effective communication for all training delivery.
- Focus to achieve goals and cover planned material.
- Think on your feet and handling difficult situations and complex group dynamics smoothly.
- Willingness to travel on frequent basis.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
