Description:
WHAT YOU’LL BE LEADING ON
- Diary management of the Directors, handling conflicting demands to maximise the Directors efficiency and factoring in travel plans
- Manging the Directors’ inbox, monitoring emails and bringing deadlines to the Director’s attention.
- Booking all travel arrangements for the Directors (eg. booking trains, hire cars, meeting rooms, hotels, venues etc).
- Collating and submitting expense claims on behalf of the Directors.
- Providing secretariat support for the Directors: setting up meetings in diaries, in advance, with correct attendees. Taking actions/notes at selected meetings and following up outstanding actions to ensure deadlines are met.
- Logistics for meetings such as the monthly team meetings, including coordinating agenda, collecting and formatting all the presentation material and securing the presenters, when applicable.
- Any other general administrative support across a variety of mediums for directors as requested.
- Support the Directors in creating an inclusive, friendly and safe environment for their teams.

Responsibilities:
National Highways have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join the Complex Infrastructure Programme (CIP) within our Major Projects directorate.
We’re looking for a Personal Assistant to support 2-3 Directors and provide administrative support to their teams.
While you will be predominantly based on one of the selected locations, a small degree of travel will be required to support the Directors and meetings and events as necessary.
National Highways operates a hybrid working policy so a minimum of 40% of time must be spent in the office (typically Wednesday and Thursday) and up to 60% of time will be working at a non-office workstation, usually home.
