JOB SUMMARY

The Strategy Unit is one of six Units in the Planning Inspectorate. It is working to plan strategically for the future, improve our ability to prepare the organisation for change, and deliver improvements for customers.
We have a vacancy in the Corporate Governance Team, offering personal administrative support to our Executive Team and our corporate governance framework.
We are a small team that reports to the Head of Strategy and Change, and our remit is to support strategic development, organisational planning and reporting, our Executive Team and our corporate governance framework.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an individual who would be a good team player, be organised and forward thinking, able to exercise judgement, deliver quality service in an effective and efficient way, be customer-focused, good communicator and able to build strong relationship with Executive Team members and other stakeholders
The role provides support to members of the Executive Team, including diary management, forward planning and handling correspondence. You will identify priorities and delegate tasks as appropriate, ensuring they are prepared for meetings and liaising to resolve issues.
The role will provide a secretariat service for a number of corporate governance meetings and supports facilitating improvements in our corporate governance as needed
