JOB CONTEXT

A Personal Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CFO. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Personal Assistant will work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12, Certificate/Diploma in Office Administration.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an executive assistant or personal assistant, preferably in a financial environment.
Proven experience in managing administrative tasks for senior executives.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Familiarity with financial terminology and processes

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support - Manage the CFO’s calendar and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Meeting Coordination - Ensure the CFO is well-prepared for meetings, including provision of all necessary documentation.
Travel Arrangements - Plan and book domestic and international travel for the CFO, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
Financial Administration - Support financial analysis and data compilation as required.
Communication - Represent the CFO in a professional and polished manner in all interactions.
Project Management - Assist in managing special projects and initiatives led by the CFO.
Office Management - Maintain the CFO’s office environment, ensuring it is organised and equipped with necessary supplies.
Research and Analysis - Conduct research on various topics as requested by the CFO, providing summaries and reports.
Event Planning - Plan and coordinate corporate events, conferences, and team-building activities.
Confidentiality - Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding all sensitive information and operations
