Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker

I am a 38-year-old male living in the Emersons Green area of Bristol, looking for a PA to help me to live independently and support me at the gym and physio when I’m strong enough.
Having a driving licence isn’t essential as I have use of my own vehicle in which I can fit my electric scooter in the boot. As my scooter is electric, I do not need support with being pushed or manual handling in that respect.

The successful candidates’ main tasks will be to:

• Domestic/laundry
• Cleaning
• Community access
• Shopping
• Meal preparation
• Cooking
• Accompanying me to collect medication/prescriptions.
• Supporting with day-to-day business matters (e.g., electricity and gas suppliers)
• The ability to support me with transferring from wheelchair. (I can take several steps, but might need support at times)
• Sometimes I’ll need assistance with button clothing as I only have the use of one arm/hand.
• Personal care – I require some assistance applying cream to my back.
