About the role
ARRCS are committed to Alice Springs Region and have the following vacancies across our services.
Old Timers Nursing Home & Flynn Lodge
Personal Care Workers - 20 x Full Time permanent positions
$31.10 per hour base rate + penalties + super
76 hours per Fortnight
Commencement from May 2024 with long term opportunities of 1 year or more
Old Timers Village - Community Day Programs & Respite
Personal Care Workers - 05 x Full Time permanent positions
$31.10 per hour base rate + penalties + super
76 hours per Fortnight
Commencement from May 2024 with long term opportunities of 1 year or more
Personal Care Workers are carers who provide emotional and practical support, such as administering medication, providing transport to appointments, personal care including showering and offering daily living supports. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in and compassion for the Aged with a commitment to providing person-centered care through respect, kindness and empathy. A Certificate III in Individual Support & recent work experience providing Individual Care is required for this role.
To work in our industry you must have/be willing to obtain the following;
Certificate III in Individual Support
Current National Police Check (dated within 3 Months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Annual Influenza vaccination
Covid 19 Vaccinations & Boosters
First Aid Certificate
Availability to work across a 24/7 Roster to meet operational needs
NT Drivers’ License
