JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are supporting our client to locate a highly motivated and skilled Paralegal to join their Personal Injury team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting lawyers with all aspects of plaintiff personal injury cases, from intake to settlement or trial.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury legal procedures and documentation.
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial client interviews, statements and intake processes.
  • Assist lawyer with case management, including drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and investigation to support case strategy.
  • Maintain case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients, and all external stakeholders
  • Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits
