JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mars Petcare’s Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition divisions will move to a new S/4 digital core, supplemented with edge solutions, some of which will be common, and some division specific. A Mars Petcare digital core CoE has been established to work on both Royal Canin’s EOS transformation and Pet Nutrition’s Shepherd transformation.
The CoE Manufacturing Lead for production execution will report to the CoE Manufacturing Senior Lead in the Make to Deliver team. The role is responsible for designing and building new capabilities based on SAP S/4 HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform to enable the manufacturing processes for Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition Process Owners and regional teams to define requirements for manufacturing solutions at Petcare factories globally.
- Analyze where Petcare factories can use the same solutions as other Mars segments, and where not.
- Analyze where Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition factories can use the same solutions, and where not
- Collaborate with Factory Engineers and Digital leads responsible for existing Manufacturing Execution systems to align scope and ensure an effective end to end solution
- Collaborate with the Make to Deploy team’s integration lead to specify required template interfaces
- Collaborate with colleagues in other CoE areas, such as meeting the quality requirements for traceability of products through manufacturing
- Drive the System integrator to deliver the design of production execution in SAP S/4 and assigned edge solutions for the Petcare segment. Ensure designs increase interoperability between Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition.
- Ensure designs achieve appropriate separation of duties and that security role designs are appropriate with limited access to sensitive transactions and data
- Ensure a high standard of testing and knowledge management to secure the long term value of the solutions
- Provide guidance to regional deployment teams to successfully rollout the solutions in scope
