JOB OVERVIEW:
This is a Clinical Pharmacist role based within the Pharmacy for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Located in Livingston, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required
- Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
Preferred:
- Hospital pharmacy experience desirable
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Days, 37.5 hours/week
- 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, and 1 evening shift per week
- Full - Time Schedule
Responsibilities:
- The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients
- They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures
- They exercise considerable independent decision making
