Responsibilities:
ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
- Provide independent high level clinical services of a complex and critical nature with significant scope to Atherton Hospital, Herberton Hospital and ten rural and remote primary health sites.
- This role provides operational management and clinical supervision to HP3 and HP4 level pharmacists, pharmacy assistants and students, including performance management within the Pharmacy Services - Atherton Hospital.
- Provide high level specialist advice of a rural generalist nature and direction to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other relevant stakeholders regarding professional standards, competence and clinical service development.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and resource allocation of the Atherton Hospital Pharmacy Department, including performance appraisal and other general people management issues.
