The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking a candidate with a degree in the field of pharmacology or an appropriate discipline of the biological, medical, or veterinary sciences that includes at least 30 semester hours in chemistry and physiology, and 12 semester hours in pharmacology.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating safety testing of investigational cancer therapies, including biopharmaceutical agents, used in multiple research studies; developing and evaluating research protocols for appropriateness of study design and use of pharmaceutical information; developing pharmacokinetic study design initiatives; assisting in all phases of contract solicitation, including review and award for pharmacology studies; and evaluating and interpreting pharmacological data from both nonclinical and clinical studies.
