Description:

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission:
Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Associate - VIE Contract (W/M)
Target start date: 01/07/2024

A Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Associate VIE will:

  • Handle of Individual Case Safety Reports and Periodic Reports according to local legislation and company QDs (Quality Documents).
  • Provide relevant safety information to HA, internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Obtain and maintain thorough knowledge of company procedures and legal requirements regarding Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information, as well as having a good knowledge of the PV (Pharmacovigilance) and MI aspects of the company portfolio.
  • Ensure involvement of GPV (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices), GSO (Global Safety Officer) and CSH (Country Safety Head) as appropriate.
  • Upon agreement support the CSH in local safety surveillance activities, safety issues, risk management activities, product alerts, patient support programs and market research programs throughout the affiliate.
  • Inform GPV and Health Authorities about safety issues in accordance with local legislation and company QDs.
  • Handling or aiding with Medical Information inquiries arising from Health Care Professionals, patients and other customers according to local legislation and company QDs.
  • To provide high standards of the Medical Information Service to support internal and external customers.
  • Participate in writing and updating of local/MCO QDs according to corporate QDs and local legislation. Collaborate with applicable third parties within PV and Medical Information Info area.
  • Actively support corporate policies, values and initiatives and comply with all Sanofi HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental ) Corporate Policy & Requirements.

Key “MUST HAVE” competencies, skills & experiences:

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent.
  • Work experience preferably from pharmaceutical industry or equivalent (from a regulated working area).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Computer literacy.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong skills in planning and prioritization.
  • Awareness of need for accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with colleagues and other internal staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and co-operation skills with colleagues.
  • Team player.
  • This position will suit an individual who is able to operate with discretion and confidentiality about sensitive data.
