See Job Description Dispensary: A big part of this role is to help in the smooth discharge of patient’s through the hospital. With the speedy and accurate processing of medication we can make a real difference to patient experience and patient flow. Dealing with queries and problem solving skills also come in very useful when speaking on the phone to patients and staff about a variety of issues. We ask all staff to help cover the reception area.
We also work closely with our other pharmacy team members in: aseptics, procurement, distribution, ward teams and the outpatient pharmacy. Distribution: The main aim of working in distribution is to ensure the safe, secure and accurate supply of medicines as stock to wards both within the hospital and to external units.
