As a remote Pharmacy Informatics Clinical Systems Analyst I, you will be helping build medication records for patients across the enterprise. You will be joining a great team made up of four pharmacists and two analysts who are eager for someone new. Your duties will include:

  • Participating in the implementation of the clinical information systems.
  • Developing and testing the functionality of applications.
  • Participating in project teams and with clinical departments to complete the implementation of clinical systems.
  • Assisting with training programs related to automated systems.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • High School diploma/GED and one year of relevant experience, plus an additional four years of healthcare IT experience can substitute for work experience.
  • Associate’s degree and one year of relevant experience, plus an additional two years of healthcare IT experience can substitute for work experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one year of applicable hospital or major medical center clinical experience or one year of recent experience supporting a major clinical information system required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interacts with end-users to define problems.
  • Coordinates and conducts education and end-user training programs to ensure systems are utilized as designed.
  • Assists with end-user documentation development or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.
  • Provides implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle with direction from Lead Analyst.
  • Other duties as assigned.
