Description:
Overview:
This is a hybrid-remote position - incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only, may work 1-2 days a week at an assigned Legacy Health location, and other days may work remotely at home, on the road or in a satellite location for the remainder of their workweek.
All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Services Associate System Analyst
This is an entry level pharmacy system analyst position that is expected to serve in a variety of roles based on the current needs of the department. Typical duties include the following:
- Participates in daily claim review to ensure charge integrity.
- Supports 340B Program administration.
- Performs data analytics as directed.
- Processes reports and Excel macros per defined business rules.
- Identifies opportunities to optimize work processes and tools.
- Assists in end user issue resolution.
- Maintains tasks and projects in accordance with established milestones and deliverables.
- Escalates critical issues to analysts or senior analysts and manager to ensure that department goals are met.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, science, math, business or equivalent field of study OR equivalent experience (Legacy Health employees only) required; master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years of Pharmacy Technician experience in inpatient pharmacy preferred.
SKILLS:
Basic understanding of current developments and trends in data processing and health care systems.
Demonstrated skills in systematic problem solving, research, analysis, and resolution.
Demonstrated ability to use professional judgment, prioritize responsibilities/workload and meet deadlines, and apply chain-of-command communication protocols.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills that encourage effective working relationships.
Solid customer-support aptitude utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills.
