Description:
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe. Our Pharmacy Department plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the Trust’s reputation. An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join the department in the role of Pharmacy Stores Manager (as maternity cover). Leading a team of four staff members, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth transition of stock from receipt into Stores, through to distribution to wards, dispensary areas and other clinical areas across the Trust, as well as participating in specific departmental projects as seen appropriate. Other key areas of focus for the role include good stock control, waste minimisation, supporting supply issues management and stock rationalisation and IV fluids service coordination. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and able to manage and supervise a team of staff to ensure continued excellent service provision.
