Description:
Overview:
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, fills medication orders, pre-packages, compounds pharmaceuticals, refills stock supplies, delivers medication and performs various clerical duties as required.

Responsibilities:
- Meets and demonstrates competency in all Pharmacy Tech I and II criteria and:
- Successfully completes training, maintains competence and primary responsibility in:
- Preparation of:
- Sterile medication preparation, and/or
- Pediatric sterile and non-sterile medications or, Primary responsibility is controlled substance inventory, distribution and disposal
- Responsible for adherence to the Department Compliance Plan for Controlled substances.
- Performs other functions as required
