We’re seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacy Technician to lead the Aseptic Compounding Pharmacy Technician team in a supportive environment. You will lead the team and provide oversight, support and performance enhancement for employees allocated to your area.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a safe, high quality, efficient and cost-effective pharmacy service.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacy team members and other staff in the delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Undertake administrative and procedural tasks associated with the day-to-day planning and co-ordination of the Pharmacy Technician Service, including the supervision of staff.
  • Assist the Pharmacy Leadership Team and team leaders with oversight of supply chain management key performance indicators and end-of-month activities.
  • Liaise with other Team Leader Pharmacists, Team Leader Technicians and Assistant Deputy Directors of Pharmacy to ensure the efficient utilisation of staff and resources.
  • Develop and implement training, education and orientation programs for team members or other relevant staff.
  • Support the implementation of actions to improve the compounding service in response to quality assurance and/or audit results
