We Are Hiring:

Department: Pharmacy Services Inpatient

• Schedule: Full Time/Rotating days/evenings, every other weekend and every other holiday. First shift: 06:00-14:30, 06:30-15:30 Second shift: 14:30-23:00
• Hospital: Borgess Medical Center
• Location: Kalamazoo, MI

What You Will Do:

Provide pharmacy services and technical support under the supervision of a Pharmacist, as allowed by the Board of Pharmacy.

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems, subject to Pharmacist verification and final check.
• Fill medication carts on a daily basis, subject to Pharmacist verification and final check prior to dispensing.
• Assist in order preparation and maintenance of inventory for the pharmacy department, including expiration date checking.
• Repackage bulk medications, subject to Pharmacist verification.

What You Will Need:

Education:

• Enrolled in a pharmacy technician certification program within 7 days of hire or transfer.
