YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an individual to join our team with several of the following characteristics:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a field relevant to this position
- Some experience in the cultural sector
- Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative methods
- A desire to develop an international research profile
- Working knowledge in English (other languages are an asset)
- Team player in a multilingual, multidisciplinary environment
- Independence and initiative
Responsibilities:
You will be leading the development, validation and implementation of a sustainability management framework and system for measuring, monitoring and managing sustainability in cultural organisations. Your work will consist of reviewing the existing academic and professional literature, developing key sustainability indicators through interviews and surveys, and testing and validating pilot versions with our practice partners. You will also contribute to the larger roll-out of the sustainability management system to new institutions around the world in the final year of the project.
Your work will be in close partnership with cultural organisations in different parts of the world to co-create and implement a framework that can be adapted to different regional contexts and different types of institutions (museums, theatres, opera houses etc.). This will also involve working on-site with organisations for a certain period of time.
Regular presence in the office is required to build a team spirit and accelerate learning. Home office will be possible for part of the working time, after an induction period.
