Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented data scientist to join our team at SAP. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of cross-domain AI applications with a focus on sustainability. The Role:

As Ph.D. researcher for sustainable AI, you will assess our internally developed AI solutions in terms of sustainability aspects. With the help of ML solutions, you will design an improved, more sustainable, setup for the training and operations of our AI solutions. A successful implementation of a proof of concept concludes your research on a sustainable setup for 30+ models.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement sustainable AI solutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative approaches and techniques for integrating sustainability principles into AI applications.
  • Develop and evaluate algorithms, models, and frameworks to improve the sustainability of AI systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and sustainability, and contribute to the development of intellectual property and thought leadership in these areas.
  • Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and present work at relevant industry and academic events.
