Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit management, marketing or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Five (5) years of professional level fundraising experience in a non-profit setting or for-profit trust management services with a proven track record of success in major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, and special events.Experience with fundraising software using Raiser Edge or other compatible fundraising programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the Foundation’s annual revenue goals in collaboration with the Board of Directors, Development Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
  • Identify, cultivate and solicitation of major donor prospects for significant contributions to the Community Hope Foundation in a capital campaign and major gifts fundraising approach.
  • Plan and execute special events that engage donors and raise funds for the organization.
  • Work closely with the Foundation Board and the Community Hope Development Team to manage prospect assignments, record contacts, and prepare board members, CEO, Development Director and Community Hope senior leaders with training, materials and strategies necessary to be successful.
  • Monitor and analyze fundraising data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed. Provide reports of events, fundraising campaigns and activities to the Development Director and Foundation as needed.
  • Maintain donor database and donor files ensuring all the information is correct and updated utilizing fundraising software. Enter data for gifts and keep uniform records and information for all donors and produce acknowledgement letters for donor gifts.
  • Oversees implementation of stewardship and recognition for all major donors.
  • Coordinates and maintains positive relationships with other Development team members in Annual Giving and Planned Giving to maximize donor relationships and philanthropic giving to the Foundation and Community Hope.
  • Functions as a resource in the coordination of Community Hope events
