JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Photographer and Media Producer to join the Imaging and Permissions team.
The Photographer and Media Producer will create images of the Museum’s internationally significant collections and support wider programme of activities to enhance public access to, and understanding of, our collections and related museum business. This role will play an important part in creating engaging and accessible content relating to our collections and our communities. This is a permanent and full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge, skills, competencies and experience in the following areas:
- At least 5 years of photographic experience.
- Have advanced photography skills across a variety of imaging styles and outputs.
- Have strong knowledge and skills associated with data management, file naming and structure best practices.
- Be able to work in a creative, collaborative, and supportive team environment.
- Experience with capturing and editing video content and expertise in alternative imaging techniques is desirable.
