Job Description
Syngenta are now recruiting a Physical Organic Chemist to work within the Process Studies Group at our Jealott’s Hill research site, Bracknell, UK. We are a cross-disciplinary team of chemists, particle scientists and engineers who provide scientific innovations to support the development of safe, cost-effective, and sustainable processes.
As a physical organic chemist, you will use your scientific knowledge to design and conduct studies to understand our chemical systems and grow our process science. Typically, this involves the gathering and interpretation of quantitative chemical information (e.g. reaction kinetics) to determine fundamental mechanistic pathways. The insights gained are used to devise inventive solutions for enhancing our chemical processes to meet business targets and strategic goals.
