Description:

Full time or part time
Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained board eligible or board certified Glaucoma Specialist
We have an excellent opportunity to join a highly collegial team of ophthalmologists in Denver, Colorado.
Our practice is stable and growing. We are one of the largest ophthalmology practices in Colorado. We are protected from nonmedical interests such as private equity. This is a shareholder track position with opportunity at year 3 to become a shareholder of Colorado Permanente Medical Group.

Volumes excess of sufficient to support a third surgical glaucoma subspecialist exist currently without need for practice building.
Our physicians are free to focus on clinical medicine. The practice is professionally managed. Though opportunities to pursue leadership roles exist, there is no expectation of administrative responsibilities for group physicians.
State of the art equipment, devices, and Epic EMR are in use. You will practice at a new medical office with an onsite ambulatory surgery center. There is no expectation to satellite.
Our glaucoma subspecialists see patients on a referral basis and also offer cataract care. Medical and surgical glaucoma is managed in conjunction with supporting integrated Kaiser Permanente general ophthalmologists and optometrists. Our glaucoma subspecialists perform cataract surgery, MIGS, lasers, and more complex glaucoma surgeries. Due to the tremendous breadth and depth of experience in our group there is always opportunity to concentrate on specific interests and to develop new skills.
Our groups full time ophthalmologists practice four days a week. Our group highly values a healthy work / life balance. Kaiser Permanente offer a generous benefits and retirement package as well as a starting bonus and relocation bonus.
