Description:

Hull University Teaching Hospitals and City Health Care Partnership are seeking to recruit band 5 Physiotherapists to join our diverse team of allied health professionals who work across a range of clinical specialties within an acute care setting and across community rotations. As a band 5 Physiotherapist you will be supported within your role to develop through training opportunities, supervision and preceptorship.
Please note we are seeking to optimise recruitment in the area. As part of this partnership working, a shared interview process is being utilised. This means applicants will only attend for 1 interview, and will be offered a contract for either Hull University Teaching Hospitals or City Healthcare Partnership if successful. The interview panel will have representatives from CHCP and HUTH.
The opportunities will both require an element of weekend working or On-call and there will be requirement to contribute towards a 7 day rota. Due to the diversity of the rotations the ability to be able to commute effectively across the geographical patch is essential.

Our current band 5 rotations operate across two hospital sites and within community settings. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain direct clinical experience in the following areas:
Medicine for the Elderly, General Medicine, Respiratory, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Acute Stroke/Neurology, MSK and Paediatric Outpatients, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation, Falls Team and Urgent Community Response.
The post holder will be self motivated and aspirational, be able to assess in an effective and timely manner in a rapid paced environment. Confidence in enabling patients in positive risk taking, personalised care, assessment of capacity, manual handling, functional assessments and knowledge of the SAFER principles will be enhanced and nurtured within this role
