Description:
This is an exciting new role for a 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Band 8a Extended Scope Practitioner (Physiotherapist) within the spinal team based at the University Hospital of North tees. The successful candidate will be seeing patients referred to the Consultant’s nit for assessment, clinical diagnosis and management of neuro-muscular skeletal disorders.
The post holder will ideally have experience in working within Orthopedics, including knowledge of a range of conditions and post op protocols.
We are looking for dedicated health care professionals who is flexible in their approach and possess the aptitude to adapt quickly to new situations. In return we will provide you with an induction support, and the opportunity to develop with the guidance of experienced Senior staff.

The successful candidate will work as part of the existing spinal team.
You will triage referrals alongside the Consultants and utilise advanced skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose and treat patients appropriately.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team providing advanced level care to patients and to evaluate the effectiveness of the ESP role within the sponal team via audits.
