Physiotherapist
Clifton Park Hospital
Full Time - 37.5 Hours
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to join our expanding department based at Clifton Park Hospital in York. We are looking for a Physio with at least six months experience to join our service across orthopaedic in-patients and out-patients. The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality of Physiotherapy services to our clients. The successful candidate will work across in-patient joint arthroplasties and day case surgeries and out-patients predominantly post-op elective orthopaedic surgery with some MSK.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with HCPC and CSP.
  • Experience in in-patient orthopaedics and post-surgical orthopaedic/MSK out-patients.
  • The ability to assess, diagnose and provide high quality individualised treatment programmes for patients.
  • Ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoning processes.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A willingness to work positively and effectively within a team environment to achieve team goals and excellence in service delivery.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail whilst working towards tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility as the service requires.

About Us:
Clifton Park Hospital is a modern, purpose built in-patient hospital located just outside York city centre. Registered with the Care Quality Commission the hospital has 24 beds, including enhanced care, two theatres, a day case unit which is serviced by a modular theatre that sees orthopaedic cases as well as an ENT service. We have a large out-patients department with x-ray facilities based a 5 minute walk away. The Physio department is based at the hospital and includes a small gym area.
