Responsibilities:
The Pinjar and Regional Technical Officer is a newly created opportunity based from our Pinjar power station site, with frequent travel to Synergy remote operation sites such as West Kalgoorlie and Mungarra.
This role is fundamental in carrying out high level technical, commercial, and supervisory activities associated with the operation and maintenance of the Pinjar and Regional Gas Turbine assets both within and external to Synergy.
Reporting to the Pinjar Technical Team Lead, the Technical Officer will primarily be responsible for planned and corrective maintenance and outage activities at Gas Generations Regional sites.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Undertake operations and maintenance work at the Pinjar and Regional Gas Generation locations
- Plan, supervise/coordinate or carry out activities, associated with manufacture, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance/repair of equipment and systems as required
- Carry out technical inspection, prepare reports with recommendations and/or arrange necessary action
- Manage maintenance outage projects in accordance with budget, to time targets whilst maintaining quality standards and develop, authorise, and apply isolations and Permit to Work required for maintenance and outage execution
- Supervise, monitor performance, coordinate, and check works carried out by staff, contractors and consultants
