Piping Superintendent

at  TECNICAS REUNIDAS SA SINGAPORE BRANCH

We are looking for a Piping Superintendent to join the Construction Department.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist/Manage the construction day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance to project specification and budget
• Planned and established work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet project goals, as well as organized production operations and activities with other departments
• Incorporated field supervisor’s daily reports into the labor and equipment coordination and progress achievement assessment
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction
• Maintain and updated data, such as timeline progress, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports and weekly updates
• Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all
• Ensure that the safety management programmes on departments safety objectives are strictly followed and action is taken against defaulters to prevent recurrence
• Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality in the best possible manner and within the guidelines of industry’s best engineering practices
• Motivate, direct, align and guide the team for best performance, monitor performance and provide continuous appraisal & feedback. Empower subordinates and provide apt tools and technique including process improvement suggestions and follow up on implementation
• Identify training requirements for subordinates and provide suitable training and guidance
• Ensure that the safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed

Main requirements:

• Degree / Diploma / Professional qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in a related position in oil and gas industry.

Work Location: Jurong Island

• 60 hours per week
