Piping/Welding Supervisor

Our client is looking for Piping/Welding Supervisors in Sasolburg with at least 5 years experience to test for the annual Sasol Shutdown in Secunda.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess relevant qualification
• Welding Supervision course certification
• Knowledge of Sasol procedures
• Must be able to read ISO drawings and welding

symbols

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in the petrochemical industry
• Physically fit to work
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to communicate in English

• Coordinates dismantling, moving and setting up

equipment at the new work site

• Ensure that welding is done according to customer

specifications and that all processes are recorded

• Ensures correct application of pre-heat and postweld

heat treatment as per the required contract

code

• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise maintenance

team members and contractors

• Complete X-ray requests and challenge X-ray results
• Ensure adherence to the OHSAct in the area of

responsibility

• Offer supervision of all construction work
