Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
As a Planned Programmer, you’ll be working within the Planning team, supporting them to plan and schedule work for both internal and external operations, ensuring a high level of service is maintained throughout. Accountable for ensuring the corporate procedures are complied with, job packs are relevant and properly prepared, programmes of work are clear and adequate and all relevant records are maintained.
Your day to day will include:
- Enforcing Kier groups values in the team and promoting these values, producing detailed works handovers / planned works
- Scheduling works to gang devices as required, batching works within the WMS system
- Liaising between planning and delivery teams to ensure jobs are planned right first time, cost effectively, talkingwith third parties, stakeholders, collaborative working to ensure network occupancy is optimised
- Supporting the Lead Programmer and providing regular reports as required
- Assessing plant and material needs for work to be carried out, undertaking risk assessments & safety checks, toolbox talks and audits, reviewing daily productivity targets ensuring budgets are managed effectively
