NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A qualification in an area relevant to planning or comparable experience working at a leadership level
• Able to draw on relevant longer-term experience specific to the job and work demands, acquired over time– 3-5 years
• Some leadership experience, that may include having designed and managed a project of work
• Understanding of and ability to select, adapt and use a range of frameworks, principles, tools, and methods and draw on experience in different areas of expertise to apply them appropriately to given issues
• Understanding of kawa and tikanga and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi & some experience working in partnership with iwi & Māori
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships with stakeholders to build a sound understanding of their operational environment and context
