We are currently seeking a Mine Planning Engineer to join our Underground Mining team at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Underground Mine Planning Superintendent, this role is responsible for the delivery of mine plans and schedules in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing industry best practice.
This position is offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster, flying directly to site from Perth or Kalgoorlie.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Be a visible and active safety leader.
• Deliver mine designs, stope designs and other plans supporting the monthly to two-year integrated planning horizon to a high quality, with consideration for the safety and well-being of others.
• Support the interface between the rolling three-monthly, three-weekly, and daily planning horizons, in addition to the interface between the two-year integrated and life-of-mine plan.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve on best practice in the underground operations, as part of the Full Asset Potential and OE800 Business Improvement programs.
• Involvement in projects by helping coordinate various capital infrastructure projects, in addition to the rollout of new technologies and software solutions.
• Support operational execution of mine plans.
