Job Description
With over two billion dollars’ worth of work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future projects ahead, our western region is experiencing an exciting period of growth. To help support this growth, we seek to bring an experienced Planning Manager into our business to work on major projects within the Perth metro area.
Your primary role will be to manage the development of project planning and monitoring systems to generate relevant information to assess the progress of a project in terms of time and cost.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop programmes, manage and implement relevant programme systems to monitor the progress of the project including:
  • Conduct risk assessments on costing schedules to identify potential delays or disputes that may impact the programme
  • Develop cost schedule to forecast estimated cost of completion
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including
  • Actively liaise with the broader teams to provide regular programme updates
  • Support site staff in the performance of their individual planning and reporting responsibilities

Required Skills and Competencies

  • 8 years’ planning and/or project management experience in a construction/engineering environment
  • Specialised knowledge of project scheduling and program logic networking
  • Demonstrable understanding of design engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning methodologies
  • Presented problem solving / analytical skills
  • Demonstrated relevant leadership skills
