Description:
A leading FMCG business based in North Wales are looking for a Planning Manager to join their team. As Planning Manager, you will lead a team in creating production plans, forecasts, schedules, places material orders and organising other resources that are needed to meet both customer and business targets.
About the role:
- Provider leadership and direction to the planning team, ensuring KPIs are met and where possible exceeded across customer service, waste and efficient planning of operational resources and labour line up
- Engage with commercial to ensure the execution of a robust demand plan
- Work with suppliers to manage material call offs and ensure inventory is kept within agreed parameters
- Be a pivotal part of the business’s S&OP process
- Manage integrity of MRP systems
About the person:
- Previous experience working at manager level within an FMCG environment but other industries would be considered
- SAP experience would be preferred
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional leadership skills
- The ability to drive change in a positive manner
