Description:

A leading FMCG business based in North Wales are looking for a Planning Manager to join their team. As Planning Manager, you will lead a team in creating production plans, forecasts, schedules, places material orders and organising other resources that are needed to meet both customer and business targets.

About the role:

  • Provider leadership and direction to the planning team, ensuring KPIs are met and where possible exceeded across customer service, waste and efficient planning of operational resources and labour line up
  • Engage with commercial to ensure the execution of a robust demand plan
  • Work with suppliers to manage material call offs and ensure inventory is kept within agreed parameters
  • Be a pivotal part of the business’s S&OP process
  • Manage integrity of MRP systems

About the person:

  • Previous experience working at manager level within an FMCG environment but other industries would be considered
  • SAP experience would be preferred
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • The ability to drive change in a positive manner
