About the role:
This pivotal role reports professionally to the Area I&S Controller and managerially to the Benelux & Ardennes CFO ant to the Plant Manager.
As a Plant Controller, you will lead a dynamic team, ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our plant. Your managerial skills and strategic insights will drive continuous improvement in our financial processes and performance.
Main responsabilities :
You will be responsible, for the plant, to ensure the proper planning process respecting Group and Company timings. You will have to interact with all Industrial Departments in order to ensure the provision of monthly closings and explain deviations from the Budget.
You will interact with the Area Operations Controlling to explain deviations and Budgetary assumptions on production variances.
You will be responsible to define industrial costs (Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting) and target setting.
You will have to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
You will be in charge of analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
You will have to collaborate with the Plant Manager and Region CFO to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
You will have to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial performance and operational success.
You will be in charge of supporting the Group Industrial Controller in global financial initiatives and projects.
You will also have to facilitate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors.
You will also be in charge to lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, while providing regular feedback.
Who we are looking for:
You will have education background (Bachelor or Master Degree) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
You will bring 7 to 10 years of experience in Industrial Controlling field, preferably within the FMCG sector.
You will bring a strong finance background and ability to work in a flexible environment and on multiple fronts, and a consolidated experience gained in multinational contexts.
You will show good knowledge of accounting principles, strong knowledge of Industrial accounting, variance analysis, Business case evaluation and cost deployment (lean manufacturing).
You will show high level of commitment and motivation, proactivity and a results-oriented attitude, passion and a mindset open to innovation.
You have great team work, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
As a controller, you will need to have strategic thinking and ability to provide financial insights for decision making and a solid business partner approach.
You will communicate fluently in English.
