THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Food Science or related field.
- Candidates with a master’s in business administration preferred.
Professional background
- Experience leading a manufacturing operation or related organization, preferably within a food, pharmaceutical or consumer Products Company.
- Experience in leading a plant or line startup preferred.
- Working knowledge of drying processes and the product development cycle. Working knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) issues and regulations.
Expected Areas of Competence
- Setting and achieving departmental financial goals, budgets, and productivity agendas.
- Proven problem-solving skills, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
- Leadership skills to translate strategy into specific tactical direction. Working with regulatory agencies.
- Leadership of compliance, GMP or HACCP processes.
- Proven track record of developing people and organizations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the leader of the Tuas Plant Leadership Team and contributes to development of strategies, projects, and business planning for Tuas Nutrition.
- Leads and manages the Tuas site in meeting the designated business objectives. Coordinates and manages all functional areas related to the manufacture of infant formula, and toddler products including: processing, drying, packaging, receiving, process engineering, process improvement and safety.
- Leads manufacturing processes that foster high quality, cost efficiency and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Continuously communicates and reviews the performance of the Operations Department, manages the tools and processes to monitor key performance indicators. Establishes measurement expectations for the Site. Drives for continuous improvement of all activities affecting manufacturing.
- Leads the implementation of projects and processes to improve quality, product cost and customer service, and optimization of capacity and capabilities. Seeks out, identifies, and champions key ideas that generate positive business results.
- Serves as a member of the Regional Manufacturing Leadership Team and contributes to development of strategies, projects, and business planning for the Asian business.
- Creates and develops a high performing team of talent which is committed to the mission of the Reckitt. Builds a team culture committed to high performance and holds others accountable for the results expected.
