Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Accountable for leading and developing the site 24/7 maintenance teams. Expertise and experience in how a plant and equipment work, how they are designed and constructed, and how they are correctly used. Work cooperatively with other site leaders and team members to safely complete continuous improvement projects.
In This Role, You’ll Have The Opportunity To:
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure the team is trained and held accountable to have safety at the forefront of their work. Identify and implement safety and environmental related improvements.
- Team Development: Lead and coach the team through the skill base pay training matrix. Assess actual capabilities to present pay rates. Define path and timing for each team member to meet their growth opportunity goals.
- Plant Performance: Address unplanned down time in a safe and timely manner. The breakdown is followed with a formal Failure mode analysis and corrective preventive actions. KPI – PEE Machine reliability > 85%. Fix the issues, not the processes around them.
- Budgets: Responsible for meeting site maintenance labor, equipment and parts expense budget.
- Work as a cross-functional leader providing a positive team spirit, supporting everyone’s efforts to safely meet business needs and changes.
- Lead the implementation of a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) process, eventually moving toward predictive maintenance.
- Lead the improvement of spare parts management to better utilize maintenance management software and tools.
- Actively participates in the New Product Development and Capital improvement Projects.
