Description:

Prysmian Group is the world leader in energy and telecoms cables systems, working to be the sustainable link to the future. In Hungary, Prysmian is currently searching for an HR Business Partner to support HR business activities in the Balassagyarmat plant. The ideal candidate will be a partner to the plant manager and the plant’s first line and, supported by a team payroll specialist, will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Manage HR processes of the company’s production unit, taking action based on business needs and business decisions, in consultation with the HR Director and the Plant Manager
  • Work with regional and HQ leadership in strategic value HR projects
  • Be an internal advisor to plant managers on HR related topics
  • Represent HR in business projects and lead significant HR projects
  • Monitor and benchmarks external and internal trends and key performance indicators
  • Supports the planning of workforce needs in the plant’s business areas, ensuring the proper succession planning
  • Leads recruitment and development activities
  • Supports the HR Director and Plant Manager in decision-making on compensation and benefits related questions and represent the HR position effectively to employees.
  • Manages internal communication channels and shares pertinent information to its employees.
  • Supports the development of employee networking, participates in the organization of employee events and programs.
  • Keeps contact with employee representative organizations.
  • Provides support to local managers in the performance review process.
  • Monitors the performance of white-collar employees and makes proposals for related actions
  • Ensure the identification and development of talent.
  • Makes proposals for organizational-level and individual trainings to meet business needs.
  • Ensures the implementation of the training courses included in the annual training plan.
  • Evaluates and analyses training programs
  • Understands and monitors relevant legislative requirements and ensure compliance with applicable law.
  • Provides labor law expertise to managers and finds solutions to labor law cases that arise.
  • Supervises operational tasks in the field of labor administration.
  • Continuously supervises the employees under his/her control to ensure proper performance and compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Provides regular feedback and effective communication to support, develops and motivates the team.
  • Prepare necessary reports according to business needs
  • Be aligned with Prysmian Group values and ethics, setting an example through commitment.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the HR field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Higher education in HR, law, psychology or business
  • Experience in Project Management is preferred
  • Fluent in English
