HIFYVE IS HIRING A PLANT MANAGER IN THE FOOD/BEVERAGE PRODUCTION INDUSTRY IN MN!

The Plant Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all Operating departments within the site. This individual will work closely with plant management, plant employees, and serve as a liaison with DFA’s enterprise-wide functional departments. The role specifically focuses on managing the Milk Receiving, Production Department, Maintenance, Wastewater, and Warehouse departments.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree (work experience may be substituted) and 8+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, including 2 years of management experience.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the health, safety, and well-being of team members.
  • Promote active employee participation in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities, including hazard identification and mitigation.
  • Ensure timely reporting and investigation of EHS events.
  • Verify that the manufacturing team is appropriately staffed to meet business requirements.
  • Mentor, train, and coach facility leadership team members to understand their roles and responsibilities within the organization.
  • Empower teams to improve equipment reliability using industry-standard tools such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Preventive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure an effective Capital and Expense Project Management process.
