OVERVIEW
KB Components Dallas is a plastics injection molding company located in Arlington, Texas. We are recently part of the KB Components global company based out of Sweden. We are seeking a skilled Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician to join our Texas team!
As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic parts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in injection molding and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
We currently have availabilty in all 3 shifts.
- 1st Shift (Day) is 7:00am to 3:30pm
- 2nd Shift (Evening) is 3:00pm to 11:30pm
- 3rd Shift (Night) is 11:00pm to 7:30am
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience operating and troubleshooting injection molding machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents
- ISO 9001 & 13485 certification experience and familiarity with quality management systems
- Knowledge of the PPAP process and ability to support PPAP submissions
- IATF 16949 experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed

- Blueprint Reading
- ISO 9001 Certification Experience
- PPAP Process Experience

- Injection Molding Machine (Milacron, Nissei, Engel)

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate injection molding machines, including Milacron, HPM, Mitsubishi, Van Dorn, Nissei, and Engel brands, to produce plastic parts according to specifications
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time, to optimize production efficiency and quality
- Perform troubleshooting, and tasks to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and other technical documents to ensure accurate production
- Conduct quality inspections of molded parts using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions
- Follow ISO 9001 & 13485 certification requirements and participate in audits to maintain compliance
- Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and ability to support PPAP submissions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
