ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Platform Administrator to join our Payments and Cards team.
As a Platform Administrator, you will be a subject matter expert (SME) for Payments & Cards platforms across the organisation including NPP, PayTo, Direct Entry, Cards and Switch. The role is responsible for providing operational support, incident & problem management, change management, integration and monitoring of critical payments infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • IT operations: Day to day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Payments & Cards platforms.
  • Manage incidents: Be an escalation point for incidents related to the Payments & Cards platform and support the incident management process.
  • Manage problems: Identifying incident trends, root cause analysis, and determining and implementing permanent corrective actions.
  • Change management: Leading and overseeing changes into production, ensuring that development, design, testing, and verification adhere to strict ITIL standards, minimising impacts to members and staff.
  • Understand each official release features for the platform and how it might help the business.
  • Provide support to the business in understanding their goals and proactively recommend new features and improvements to optimize Payments & Cards infrastructure.
  • Direct involvement in the configuration of the platform and supporting official platform releases.
