• Responsibilities. Responsible for collaborating with a team of software engineers to create microservice features for Lifion by ADP’s Human Capital Management software platform. Write code, test code, write automated test cases and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Work alongside a team of intelligent and creative engineers to complete sprints identified during scrum meetings. Collaborate with product owners to see their vision, and then build out that vision in new features and upgrades to ADP’s products. Design and implement RESTful APIs that follow best practices, including clear and concise endpoint naming, request and response formatting, error handling, and security considerations. Use latest technologies to write clean and well-designed code for both front-end and back-end. Use asynchronous programming techniques such as callbacks, promises, and async/await to achieve highly performant and scalable code. Implement security measures to protect data and ensure that the application is secure. Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to provide full test coverage.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study (or foreign equivalent) plus one (1) year of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree plus zero (0) years of experience.
• Work Experience. Experience or coursework must involve the following: Javascript; React; GoLang or Node JS technologies; RDBMS and NoSQL databases (MySQL or DynamoDB); GIT; Jenkins; Ansible; Public Cloud (AWS or Azure); Python; GraphQL; Unix shell scripting; Agile software methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean; Docker/Kubernetes; RESTful APIs; Cypress Test Framework.
